The #SciComm Space Info Day

On 6th June, 1-3pm, we are running a couple of sessions about the #SciComm Space, focusing on our programme towards Manchester Science Festival this year and our new MSc in Science Communication and Future Media. The event is open to everyone, staff and students.

6th June 1-2pm, Council Chamber, Old Fire Station
Manchester Science Festival, get involved!

Our Manchester Science Festival programme is rapidly coming together and we want to build a cross-university programme around the theme 'Gamify'. This resonates with our offer at media city, but also connects into some neat things happening in learning right now, such as the Wellcome Trust 'Gamify Your PhD' programme. We invite all academics to come along and do something to gamify science communication. Come to this session to hear more and get involved.

6th June, 2-3pm, Albert Adams Room, Old Fire Station
MSc in Science Communication & Future Medi
a info session
Our new MSc is designed with the creative professional in mind, so if you're looking to ramp up your skill set for research impact, build your pro media skills, or even get into more DIY media making and citizen science / public involvement work, then consider taking this course. It is online only and part-time, so totally possible to complete while having a full time job. We've even designed the assessments as portfolios, so you can tailor them to what you are doing in your day job. Find out more about the MSc HERE
