IMMERSE @ Science In Public & Festival of Research

Scicomm space has teamed up with Salford’s month long Festival of Research to present IMMERSE, an evening of interactive research and science on 10th July 6-8pm.

IMMERSE will feature several experiences from across Salford ranging from Dr Chloe James’ The MICROBIhOME to Professor Mike Wood’s Chernobyl VR and Mixed Reality experience, ARK from postgraduate student, Candace James, which explores how to create capacity for UK communities experiencing flooding.

Audiences are invited to immersive themselves and discover the local, global and virtual through sight, sound, sensation, touch and taste. The event is presented as a satellite event of the 13th annual Science In Public conference, which will provide an innovative, engaging, and creative interdisciplinary space to explore the intersection of science and publics.

The event is free, but booking is required.
